To replace the alternator on a Renault Megane, first loosen the bolts securing the front wheel, allowing it to be removed. After removing the wheel, proceed to detach the inner lining of the corresponding wheel arch. By removing this element, you will gain access to the bolts securing the alternator to its housing. Loosen these bolts as well, and disconnect the connector and the serpentine belt to remove the old alternator, making way for the new one. After installation, check that everything is functioning correctly.
