How to Replace the Shock Absorbers on a Renault Scenic

Do you want to change the shock absorbers but don't know how? In this video, we will show you how to change them without difficulty.
First, you need to remove the wheel to carry out the work. Once the wheel is removed, disconnect the brake line and unscrew the respective bolts located behind the discs. Using a jack, lift the discs to make it easier to extract the pins and apply slight pressure to detach them from the shock absorber. Using a rope, support the disc with the hub. Now open the bonnet to first remove the wipers and then detach the seal that holds the air duct cover. Once these parts are removed, proceed to remove the duct that will allow you to take out the wiper motor, being careful how you do it. Using a special press, unscrew the cover that encloses the shock absorbers. Remove the old shock absorber from the press and insert the new one to allow for the cover to be mounted. Now proceed to install it on your vehicle by repeating the operation in reverse.
