In this tutorial, you can see how to replace the gear knob in the Renault Laguna, an extremely simple and quick operation. First, go inside the cabin, then unclip the base of the gaiter by prying around the perimeter.

Next, grasp the knob, twist it in both directions, and simultaneously pull it upwards to remove it from the shaft. At this point, simply separate the knob from the gaiter by cutting the plastic tie, position the replacement, and reassemble everything by following the reverse procedure.
