How do you open the bonnet of a Renault Twingo I? It may seem trivial, and it certainly is for those who know how to do it, but for someone who has never done it, it can be complicated. Here’s how to do it: get into the car and locate the lever on the right side of the steering wheel.

Pull it towards you, then go to the front of the vehicle; place your hand under the bonnet near the manufacturer's emblem and push the lever located under the bonnet to the left to unlock it. Lift the bonnet and keep it open by securing the support found on the left side of the bonnet.

To close it, remove the support, bring the bonnet down a few inches from the closure, and let it go: it will close by itself.
