Timing belt replacement on Saab 9 3

Model: Saab 9 3 MK 2 - Years 2002-2014
Part: Timing belt

Has the timing belt of a Saab 9 3 reached the mileage limit and therefore needs to be removed? Let's see the disassembly of the belts. We open and lift the front hood of the engine, remove the soundproofing panel of the engine. Once these operations have been carried out, we remove the plastic covering the belts. We loosen the second belt tensioner and remove the belt from its seat. After having mounted the new belt, with a fixed wrench we go to assemble the belt tensioner roller, we stretch until we have the right belt tension (we assemble the two belts). We mount the coating plastics. Finally, we mount the soundproofing panel of the Saab engine.
