How to replace the timing belt on a Saab 9-3?

To replace the timing belt on a Saab 9-3, open the bonnet to access the engine compartment. Remove the hose located to the left of the engine block to gain access to the side cover where the pulleys are located. By removing this cover and loosening the central bolts of the pulleys, you will reduce the tension on the belt, allowing it to be extracted from its housing. After replacement, insert the new belt, refitting the side cover of the engine compartment and all removed components.
