Replacing the Timing Belt on a Saab 9-3

Has the timing belt on your Saab 9-3 reached its mileage limit and needs replacing? Let's go through the removal process. Open and lift the front engine bonnet, then remove the engine soundproofing panel. Once these steps are completed, remove the plastic covers over the belts. Loosen the second tensioner and slide the belt out of its seat. After fitting the new belt, use a spanner to install the tensioner roller, ensuring the belt is tensioned correctly (fit both belts). Refit the plastic covers. Finally, reattach the engine soundproofing panel on the Saab.
