Dismantling and Cleaning the Front Headlight

Model: Saab 9 3 MK 2 - Years 2002-2014
Part: Headlight

It often happens that due to deterioration or small leaks, headlights tend to yellow and lose their brightness, giving the vehicle a decidedly unappealing appearance. In many cases, especially in older vehicles, it is possible to remove the headlight glass from the reflector for thorough cleaning. Once the headlight is removed from the bodywork (there are two pins on the cross member and one lateral pin accessed by removing the side indicator), remove the metal clips that attach the glass to the reflector and clean everything thoroughly. Proceed in reverse for reassembly, ensuring the glass adheres correctly to the seal.
