Replacing Front Headlight Bulbs

Model: Saab 9 3 MK 2 - Years 2002-2014

To replace the left front headlight bulb, first remove the air filter housing; then remove the rubber cap behind the headlight, disconnect the connector from the control unit, and remove the unit by turning it counterclockwise. At this point, unclip the bulb retaining springs and extract the bulb from the holder (be careful not to touch the bulb with bare hands); insert the new bulb, secure it by locking the retaining springs, reattach the control unit, and connect the power connector. To access the bulbs of the left headlight, remove the cover of the battery compartment and pull out the windscreen washer filler tube.
