Replacement of the rear lock of the Seat Altea

In this video, we will see how to replace the rear trunk lock of the Seat Altea, which had broken: essentially, the hook was no longer catching the pin. We can find this spare part, for example, on Auto-doc. It has the code 132-046-010 at a price of 20.06 euros + 9.90 euros for delivery. When opening the hatch, first disconnect the electrical connector, then we need to remove the two T40 torx screws that secure the part to the body, in a very simple manner. We place the new part in its position, secure the two screws, and then reconnect the electrical connector that provides the impulse for opening the hatch with the remote control.
