How to reset the Service light on the Seat Altea?

Model: Seat Altea MK 1 - Years 2004-2015
Part: Service warning light

To clear the Service light on the Seat Altea, press and hold the button located at the centre of the instrument panel while it is off. Continue holding it down, then insert the ignition key into the corresponding slot: turning the key will allow you to release the button after a few seconds and then turn it to the left. This will confirm that the Service light has been successfully reset; after the reset, turn off and restart the instrument panel to confirm that the reset has been executed.
