In this tutorial, you will see how to replace the gear knob on the Seat Leon, a very simple and quick operation. First, go inside the cabin and unclip the base of the gaiter from the centre console using a plastic spatula to avoid leaving any marks.

Next, lift the gaiter, cut the internal metal clip, and separate the knob from the shaft by pulling it upwards with force. Now, simply insert the replacement, secure it to the gaiter with a new clip, and reassemble everything.
