If you want to find out how to replace the battery in the smart remote of your Seat Ibiza (2008-2017), just read this guide carefully and follow the various steps described. First, press the metal button located at the top of the cover to release the emergency key. Next, remove the rear cover (you can use a flat screwdriver if it does not come off easily). At this point, also remove the button cell battery and replace it with a new one. Refit the rear cover, and you are done.
