In this tutorial, you will see how to replace the remote battery in a Seat Ibiza, a very simple and quick operation. You will need a replacement battery of type CR2025 and a small flathead screwdriver.

First, extend the emergency metal key, then locate the slot in the key housing. Insert the screwdriver into the slot and, using leverage, separate the two halves of the remote.

Once done, you can open the lower half, remove the old battery, and insert the replacement in the correct orientation.
