In this video, see how to reset the service light on the Seat Altea. It is really quite simple; it takes longer to describe than to do. Simply get into the car, ensuring all four doors are closed and the handbrake is engaged; turn on the ignition, then press the "reset" button located in the centre of the dial, between the speedometer and the rev counter.

Now release the reset button and turn it to the right. You can turn off the ignition.

At this point, if you turn the ignition back on, you will see that the service light is off.
