How to Replace the Tailgate Lock on a Seat Ibiza?

To replace the tailgate lock on a Seat Ibiza, lift the tailgate to access the screws securing the plastic panel inside. Once the screws are loosened, remove the panel completely to access the underlying components and the lock. The lock can now be removed from the bottom of the tailgate by unscrewing the fixing screws and disconnecting it from the relevant cables. Install the new lock and refit the door panel.
