To replace the battery in a Skoda Superb, open the bonnet and locate the battery, positioned in the engine bay, protected by a plastic cover that needs to be removed to access the terminals. Start by disconnecting the negative terminal and then the positive terminal.

Unscrew the bracket or support that secures the battery to the base and carefully remove it, taking care of the weight. Position the new battery in the same housing, ensuring it is stable and well seated.

Refit the support and reconnect the positive terminal first and then the negative terminal, checking that the terminals are securely tightened. Replace the protective cover, close the bonnet, and start the vehicle to verify that all electrical systems are functioning correctly.
