Installation of Aux Adapter Kit and Removal of Car Radio

To install the Aux adapter, you must first remove the original car radio as explained below. Start by removing the plastic fascia surrounding the radio and climate control buttons, pulling it from the bottom (the fascia is simply clipped in). Next, unscrew the four fixing screws of the radio located at the corners, pull it out from its housing, disconnecting the plugs attached to it: locate the blue area of the connector. Then connect the Aux adapter wiring to the three free positions of the blue connector according to the wiring diagram shown in the figure, while the other ends of the wiring can be soldered to a 3.5 mm audio socket to be installed at the desired location in the cabin (for example, on a free button below the climate control buttons). Finally, reposition the radio and the corresponding fascia.
