You can adjust the handbrake on a Škoda Fabia by removing the glove compartment located behind the handbrake lever. Once the glove compartment is removed, you will find the mechanism that allows you to adjust the handbrake's tension. By tightening the bolt present here, you can make the lever heavier and reduce its travel; conversely, loosening the bolt will increase the lever's travel and make it softer. After completing the adjustment, cover everything with the glove compartment.
