Replacing the Front Headlamp Bulb with Disassembly

Model: Skoda Octavia MK 2, 1Z - Years 2004-2012

For this operation, you will need a T30 Torx key. Open the bonnet and unscrew the retaining screws of the headlamp using the Torx key. Gently remove the headlamp, taking care with the cables, and remove the retaining springs of the plastic cover to access the bulbs. Once the cover is removed, take out the bulb holder of the faulty bulb by releasing the retaining springs and remove it. Carefully insert the new bulb, ensuring not to touch the glass bulb with your hands; if you do, clean the glass with a cloth dampened with alcohol. Properly close the protective cover and refit the headlamp.
