In this very short tutorial, we will see the entire procedure necessary to reset the service indicator light, which indicates the remaining life of the engine oil, on a Skoda Octavia, first-generation model produced from 1996 to 2004. Well, let's start right away by pressing and holding the button on the right side of the speedometer, then turning on the ignition of the vehicle without starting the engine. After doing this, release the button when the word "service" appears, and turn the button on the left side of the speedometer clockwise to complete the job. Finally, restart the vehicle to verify the correct reset of the indicator light.

How to open the bonnet of the Volkswagen Polo

Let's see in this short and simple guide the instructions that will allow us to open the bonnet of the Volkswagen Polo. First of all we open the front door, on the driver's side, and start pulling the opening lever of the engine hood, in order to open the lock; then let's move to the front of the vehicle and unhook the tab that we find on the central part, above the manufacturer's emblem, as shown in the video. At this point we block the bonnet with the lateral rod; then we accompany the bonnet down to close it again!
