To reset the service light, which indicates the remaining oil life, on a third-generation Skoda Octavia, produced from 2012 to 2019, first press and hold the "0.0/SET" button located on the speedometer, then turn the key to the first position to switch on the vehicle's dashboard without starting the engine.

At this point, a reset request will appear on the information display, so release the button and press it again to confirm and reset the service light.
