These short and simple steps will show us how to disassemble and replace the gear lever knob of the Smart Fortwo. First of all, we get into the car and start pulling the gear knob upwards with force, until it comes off and we remove it from the lever; if necessary, we also remove the gear lever boot. At this point, we proceed to install the new gear knob, of the right type, by first reassembling the boot; if necessary, we fix the knob on the boot (using a strap, for example), making sure that the knob is securely attached to the gear lever!

How to remove the fuel pump from the tank on an Opel Astra? First, disconnect the battery cables. Next, remove the rear seat cushions from the car. Use a socket spanner to unscrew the securing screws of the metal cap (located on the metal panel), then remove it from its seat. Use absorbent paper around the perimeter to soak up any liquid leaks.
