To replace the clutch actuator on a Smart, lift the car with a jack or ramp so that you can locate the clutch actuator at the rear of the vehicle: here you can loosen the screws that secure it to its housing, disconnecting all the appropriate connectors as well.

At this point, you can remove the old actuator from its housing, allowing you to insert the new one; the latter must be properly secured and connected, ensuring everything functions correctly.
