Model: Smart Smart 451 - Years 2007-2015
Part: Parking brake

In order to adjust the handbrake of the Smart ForTwo, you need to loosen the bolts that secure the left rear wheel, so that it can be removed. Once the wheel has been removed from its housing, you can loosen the bolts that secure the corresponding brake drum, identifying the shoes and the handbrake mechanism. This can be adjusted by tightening or loosening the shoes in order to adjust the intensity of the handbrake. Once the adjustment is complete, you can verify that the operation has been completed.
