In this guide for Smart Fortwo owners, we will describe the steps needed to easily remove the standard radio. First, enter the cabin and turn off the vehicle if it is still running.

Then, pull towards you the control panel located at the bottom of the radio. Once done, disconnect the electrical cable and remove the screw using a cross-head screwdriver.

Next, take off the entire plastic panel and unscrew the screws securing the radio. Finally, pull the radio towards you to complete the removal.
