How do you replace the timing chain of the Smart car?

In order to replace the timing chain of the Smart car, you need to completely remove the rear panel of the vehicle, loosening the screws located under the rear lights and those that will be found in the wheel arches: when the panel has been removed, you will be able to locate the engine block. On its right side, the chain will be present: to remove it, you will need to loosen the screws that fix the valve cover, making the camshafts visible. By also removing the chain tensioner, you can slide the timing chain off the corresponding sprockets, inserting the new one and reassembling all the removed parts.
