How to disassemble and clean the EGR valve of the Smart Fortwo

In this guide we will see the main instructions that will allow us to disassemble and clean (or replace) the EGR valve of the Smart Fortwo. First of all, we access the rear engine compartment of the car and then proceed with the disassembly of the EGR valve; to do this, we disconnect the various pipes and the exhaust manifold attached to the valve, unscrewing all the fixing screws and disconnecting the electrical connector, as shown in the video. Once the EGR valve is removed, you can proceed with cleaning using specific products, replacing the entire valve with a new one if damaged.
