How to remove the EGR valve from the Smart?

To remove the EGR valve from the Smart, open the rear hatch to access the engine compartment. Underneath, you will find the EGR valve connected directly to the exhaust manifold. To remove it from its housing, loosen the screws that secure it and then disconnect the appropriate connectors; this will allow you to completely remove the old component and insert the new one. Secure it and connect it properly to ensure everything functions correctly.
