How to disassemble the engine block of the Smart Fortwo

Today we will discover the main steps useful for disassembling the entire engine block of the Smart Fortwo. First of all, we open the rear hatch and start removing the plastic side panels; then we unscrew the oil drain bolt and drain the oil, as shown in the video. At this point, we disconnect the exhaust manifold and the various fuel lines; then we remove the engine mounts and finally disconnect the transmission, removing the entire engine block with the lower support; we carry out the engine inspection or replacement, following the video tutorial until the end!
