How to Remove the Cylinder Head of the Smart Fortwo

To remove and replace the cylinder head or its gasket on the Smart Fortwo with a 1.0 petrol engine, it is necessary to detach the engine block from the chassis; the cylinder head must also be removed for the replacement of the timing chain. Once the engine is lowered, first remove the spark plugs and the intake manifold, then remove the cylinder head cover; disconnect the various wiring and unscrew the cylinder head bolts to remove it. Now carry out the gasket replacement and, if necessary, the timing chain, following the video tutorial to the end!
