Where is the Smart's battery located?

In Smart vehicles, the battery is located inside the cabin specifically under the passenger side footwell. To replace the battery, we need to move the passenger seat back and lift the carpet cover. After lifting the cover, we will notice that the battery is secured by a bracket. Replacing it then becomes a fairly simple and quick operation to perform independently. The battery location in Smart vehicles is the same for all models produced from 2007 to 2015. Other models place the battery in the trunk.
