The instructions provided in this guide will show us the procedure for disassembling and replacing the lambda probe of the Smart Fortwo. First, let's move to the rear of the vehicle and start unscrewing all the screws holding the bumper in place, in order to detach and remove it; then we disconnect the lambda probe sensor found on the exhaust, using a star wrench, as shown in the video. At this point, we disconnect the electrical connector to remove and replace the lambda probe with the new one, as well as with the original one, reassembling everything.
