How to repair the air vent of the Smart Fourfour

Model: Smart Smart 454, Fourfour1 - Years 2004-2006

To repair the air vent of the Smart Fourfour model 454, we need to remove the fans and, using a flathead screwdriver, take off the vent body. Let's move to a workbench to remove the gray component so we can insert the new fan into the block. We will attach the gray outer part to the inner part of the fan and secure the clips. Then, we will get back inside the vehicle and insert the vent into its housing. On Smart vehicles, there is no connector; the clips inside will activate the ventilation control unit.

How to Replace the Timing Belt on a Chevrolet Matiz

How to replace the timing belt on a Chevrolet Matiz. Open the bonnet and secure it, lift the car on a column lift (if necessary, remove the front wheel using a screwdriver to take off the right wheel arch liner). Use a fixed spanner to loosen the tensioner pulley and slide the belt off its seat. Use a socket spanner to undo the securing bolt of the tensioner pulley, then remove the water pump as shown in the video. Fit the new water pump, the tensioner, and the belt itself, tightening everything with the socket spanner. Finally, refit the rivets along with the wheel arch liner and reattach the wheel with the tyre to the vehicle.
