How to Repair the Door Handle Cable on a Smart Forfour

In this short video, we will see a simple (temporary) solution to repair the door handle cable on a Smart Forfour. First, open the front door and start by prising off the plastic part of the handle to remove the cover; then unscrew the Torx screw located just underneath, as shown in the video. Once the handle is removed, you will find the broken cable; insert a screw with a thread lock between them to attach it to the opening handle mechanism: this way, you will have temporarily solved your problem!
