How to Remove the Wiper Control Lever from a Smart Fortwo

Have you encountered issues with the wiper control lever on a Smart Fortwo? Let’s see how to proceed with the removal in this video. First, disconnect the battery cables located in the engine compartment. Next, unscrew the screws located at the bottom of the car's steering wheel. Remove the trim plastics from the steering wheel. Once the plastics are removed, pull the wiper lever piece towards you from above the indicator stalk, taking care not to damage it (disconnect the large power connector). Prepare to refit the new part in reverse order.
