Removing the Smart Fortwo fuel filter

In this short video tutorial we will see how to remove and replace the diesel filter of a second series Smart Fortwo. First we go to lift the car with some stands, since we will find the filter under the car: then we go to unscrew the screw of the bracket of our filter in order to be able to move it; finally we will go to disconnect the two delivery and output pipes of our fuel. At this point let's extract it and replace it with the new one and of the right type; also check the state of corrosion of the pipes: if damaged, replace them with new ones and then reassemble everything.

How to Remove the Gear Knob on a Renault Scenic

Want to replace the gear knob on a Scenic? Let’s see how to do it in this video. First, detach the leather gaiter cover from the edge of the centre console. Use a plastic spatula to remove the cap indicating the gear numbers. Grip the knob and twist it until it comes off the shaft. Disconnect the knob from the gaiter, fit a new one onto the gaiter (if the gaiter is damaged, replace it with a new one) and attach it to the metal shaft. Finally, secure the connectors of the leather gaiter onto the centre console.
