Replacing Number Plate Lights on a 2016 Smart Car

Using a small flat screwdriver or a plastic wedge (not metal!), remove the three housings containing the number plate light bulb, as shown in the video. Pop the small LED bulb out of its housing and insert the new one. If you want to replace the entire housing, simply disconnect the connector and attach it to the new housing you purchased, which will already have the bulb installed.

The small compartment with the bulb can be reinserted by gently pushing it into place until it clicks. Repeat the process for all three lights.
