How to Replace the Window Switch Button on a Smart

Model: Smart Smart 454, Fourfour1 - Years 2004-2006
Part: Power window switch

Before you begin, sit in the driver's seat of your Smart. Using a small flathead screwdriver as a lever, remove the plastic cover around the window switch button. Once the side cover is removed, use the screwdriver to pry in the gap between the button and its housing. This will free the button from its housing, and then disconnect the rear connector to complete the removal. To install the new button and close the handle, simply reverse these instructions, and you will have completed the replacement.
