How to Remove the Radio from a Smart ForTwo

Before you begin, sit in the driver's seat of your Smart ForTwo. Start by unclipping and moving the button panel located below the radio. This will reveal the lower screw securing the radio frame, which you need to unscrew and remove, then unclip and remove the frame itself. Once the frame is removed, you will see the four screws that secure the radio to the dashboard, which you must unscrew and remove. After completing this step, you can pull the radio from its housing and disconnect the rear connectors, completing the removal.
