Removing the Front Seat of a Smart Forfour

Model: Smart Smart 450 - Years 1998-2007

Today, remove the front seats from a Smart Forfour. First, open and lift the bonnet and disconnect the two battery terminals (positive and negative). Next, access the cabin and fold the seat forward: then unscrew the bolts located at the bottom using a socket spanner. Once done, lift the seat and disconnect the electrical connector underneath by pressing the tab (gently and without breaking it!): now you can finally remove the seat from the car, and repeat the same process for the passenger side seat!
