Replacing the RPM sensor on Smart cars

Model: Smart Smart 450 - Years 1998-2007
Part: Crankshaft position sensor

Work with the engine off and the handbrake on. Remove the intercooler from the throttle body pipe by unscrewing the clamp as shown in the video, then disconnect the connector of the throttle body itself. Unscrew the four bolts now accessible with an 8 mm socket wrench. Disconnect the injection hoses and the hidden connector shown well in the video by pulling it and applying pressure on both tabs. Unscrew the screw next to the connector and, finally, you can extract the sensor relating to the number of revolutions of the crankshaft. Obviously, proceed backwards for the assembly.

How to Replace the Lift Supports on a Porsche 911

How to remove and replace the lift supports for the hood on a Porsche 911? Let's see how to replace them in this video: Lift the hood and secure it. Use a screwdriver or metal lever to detach the clips that hold the lift support at both ends (or unscrew the mounting pins). Install the new part onto the sheet metal of the front trunk, securing the lift support with the clips/pins. Proceed in the same manner for the removal/installation of the opposite lift support. Finally, test the gas springs installed earlier.
