Removing the Console on Smart 450

Model: Smart Smart 450 - Years 1998-2007

Tutorial on how to remove the central dashboard of Smart 450. Simply pull out the radio. If needed, use a plastic lever (not metal!). Disconnect the electrical cables and the antenna. Unscrew the side screws related to the glove compartment and remove it. Using the plastic lever, lift and detach the small upper panel related to the climate control buttons, disconnect the cables here and unscrew the now visible screws. Unscrew the 4 screws that secure the plastic of the air vents. Finally, you can detach and remove that plastic, and you're done!
