How do you replace the Smart window regulator?

Model: Smart Smart 450 - Years 1998-2007
Part: Checks and maintenance

In order to replace the Smart window lifter, you must first remove the outer door panel. To do this, you will need to remove bolts from the inside of the door, which are located at the outside rearview mirror and behind the plastic cover of the outside handle. Once these screws have been removed, it will be possible to pry the outer panel off with an object. Now it will be necessary to block the glass with an object, so as to be able to unscrew the bolts that secure the window regulator. This can now be removed and replaced.
