To replace the battery in the remote of a first series Smart (Smart 450), follow these simple steps. First, as shown in the video at minute 0:10, use a screwdriver to pry open the gap between the two halves of the remote shell; this will allow you to open it. Once opened, you will find the circuit board holder; the battery holder is installed on it. Remove the old battery and replace it with the new one. After completing the operation, reinsert the circuit board and close the two plastic halves of the remote with a gentle press.
