In today's video tutorial, you will learn how to remove and replace the battery on the Smart Fortwo 450, first series, by following the instructions below. First, get inside the vehicle on the passenger side and start by removing the carpet covering the floor; then remove the polystyrene panel to access the battery, as shown in the video. At this point, disconnect the two battery terminals (positive and negative) by unscrewing the nuts with a 10 mm spanner; simply remove it and replace it with the new one, applying the reverse procedure!
