How to Replace the Radio in a Smart

Model: Smart Smart 451 - Years 2007-2015

Remove the control panel of the centre console using a screwdriver, remembering to disconnect the power connector. Unscrew the screw at the back. Now use the screwdriver as a lever to extract the plastic trim. Use a T15 Torx screwdriver to remove the 4 screws holding the radio in place. Pull the radio out. Disconnect the power connectors and the antenna cable. Install the new radio, using the original trim (suitable for 2 DIN structures), ensuring to reconnect the new contacts properly.
