To understand if it is necessary to replace the clutch actuator of a Smart Fortwo 451, it is necessary to carry out a check on it. Then open the bonnet of the car and remove the actuator, then unscrew the three screws present in the structure. Care must be taken not to touch or insert grease into the hole in the clutch. At this point it is necessary to rotate the movable part of the actuator to check if it is actually able to move in all directions. If the movement is not easy even in one direction, then it must be replaced with a new one, reassembling it in the appropriate space. Then reinsert the bolts, greasing them with grease to facilitate entry.
