First, lift the car on a ramp or with a jack, taking the necessary safety precautions. Then, go underneath the engine compartment, locate the actuator in question, and mark its position. Next, disconnect the rear connector, unscrew the fixing bolts with a 10mm spanner, and remove the device from its housing. To fit the replacement, simply follow the reverse procedure.
