Replacing the spark plugs in a Smart ForTwo 451 is quite simple. First, open the rear hatch and remove the upper cover for more space. Take out the floor of the compartment and open the engine cover. You will notice three large cables and corresponding connectors leading to the engine; disconnect them by pressing the indicated clips and remove the remaining plastic part. Now, proceed to unscrew the spark plugs using a long 16mm socket, gently extracting them with pliers. Replacing the parts will be equally simple; just follow the reverse procedure.
